JMAC's Unofficial Official Summer Time Even in Chicago
This summer we are going to continue a new tradition to visit the Taste of Chicago. There we will consume unhealthy amounts of greasy foods, turkey legs, shark, and alligator meats (all which will be available). Hopefully this year the drug dealers and police will not be tailing us. See blow for information:
Date: Wednesday, July 1st 2009 When: We start wondering at 3:00. Show up beforehand if you wish to be part of the group. Where: In front of the Art Institute
Friday Night Movie Night Posted by: AliasWeird on Saturday, May 30, 2009 (17:36:23)
Indeed, coming up is JMAC's Friday Night Movie Night! This year's selection was Metropolis written by Osamu Tezuka, screen played by Katsuhiro Ôtomo, and directed by Rintaro.
After the movie, there will also be JMAC's annual auction event. This is JMAC's largest fundraiser so please participate in it! You're contributions and auctions help pay for food as well as hosting panels for voice actors every year.
You do not have to pay on the spot, but we do take names and we are not afraid to take out knee caps.
There will be a nacho bar again this year! But if any of you remember last year, there will probably be not enough chips and too much meat and cheese. So bring you're own tortilla chips!
Magical nights and reminders! Posted by: MusicalAnime on Monday, May 25, 2009 (06:49:39)
Happy holiday everyone!
I wanted to post a thank you to everyone who helped plan, set-up, and attend the ball that occurred Saturday night. I don't think I could have had a more amazing night! The ball was pure fun! Thank you to everyone who attended this new Jmac event and danced the night away with us! Please don't forget to share your thoughts about the ball with board members! By knowing what you want and think, we can keep improving the event for the future!
Also remember that there is NO JMAC today, Monday May 25th. It is Memorial Day!
Next Monday, June 1st will be our last meeting of the year. We invite you to come and tell us your thoughts about spring quarter, vote on running series for fall, and so much more!
Even though our last meeting is on the first, the last Jmac event for the school year will be June 5th! Remember to join us for Friday night movie night!
